New Breyer Models for 2026!

A new year means a fresh, new collection of Breyer model horses! 2026 is no exception - we have dozens of new arrivals at the Breyer stable that are so excited to meet you this year. These regular line items will be available both here at BreyerHorses.com and also at your favorite local Breyer retailer. 

Here are some highlights from our collection of new products arriving in the next few weeks!

Traditional Series

2026 is the year of the Fire Horse in the Chinese Zodiac calendar. Yàn Wǔ (#B-TR-10670) celebrates this special occasion in vibrant reds and golds! In Chinese culture, the horse stands for freedom, energy, and drive. Those born in a Year of the Horse are often naturally charismatic, independent, and adventurous. The element of fire ignites additional boldness, enthusiasm, and energy to those entering the world in the Year of the Fire Horse.

 

Celebrate America's semiquincentennial - that's a fancy way to say 250th anniversary! - with Betsy & Ross (#B-TR-10671), a clearware Mustang mare and foal named for the maker of the first American Flag, Betsy Ross. Mare Betsy is decorated with the classic 13 stars arranged in a circle on her hip, and foal Ross carries the accompanying stripes.

Horse racing is often thought to be synonymous with Thoroughbreds, but many other breeds participate in the sport as well. In the world of Quarter Horse racing, the #1 living leading sire is the legendary Apollitical Jess (#B-TR-10718). He was crowned World Champion Racing American Quarter Horse in 2010 as he shattered track records, retiring that same year with a total of $1,399,831 in earnings. He has since become one of the most in-demand sires of the sport, with more than $75 million in progeny earnings.

Jaguel Hilton (#B-TR-10668) is the only Criollo stallion currently standing at stud in the United States. Hailing from the Pampas region of South America, these athletic stock horses are the mount of choice for South American gauchos – the skilled horsemen of the region. "Hilton's" achievements include being a two-time qualifier for the Freno de Oro/Freio de Ouro world finals, which can be described as a high-intensity ranch horse versatility competition. Now retired from competition, he currently stands at stud with Gravitas Criollos.

The seventh model in The Ideal Series, inspired by the art of Western artist Orren Mixer and his famed "Ideal" horse paintings, is The Ideal Series – Pinto (#B-TR-10669). Pintos - horses with large white patches on their coats - can be found in a variety of breeds, and the Pinto Horse Association of America has registered over 160,000 since its incorporation in 1956. The painting “Pinto” was commissioned by the PtHA from Mixer in the year 2000 and showcases the variety of breed types and disciplines pinto horses can be found in. This model takes inspiration from the stately bay pinto American Saddlebred found on the right hand side of the painting.

Looking as if they stepped out of a historical painting, the stunning Lipizzaner is prized for its natural talent in classical dressage. Pluto Gratia (#B-TR-10667) has spent his career as an ambassador of both his breed and discipline. Once a quadrille performer at the famed Tempel Farms in Illinois, "Gratia" found a new home with Good Luck Farm Lipizzans when Tempel sadly closed its doors after 65 years. Now retired from performance, Gratia is enjoying his days as a classical dressage schoolmaster, grazing with his herd, and riding on the local trails in Colorado. 

The "winningest Vanner horse in history," GG Kiss Me Kate (#B-TR-10717) is bringing her charm and charisma to the Breyer stable. A granddaughter of fellow Breyer portrait horse The Gypsy King, "Kate" is a 56-time Supreme Grand Champion, a 34-time National Champion, a four-time National Supreme Grand Champion, and a member of her breed’s Hall of Fame - titles that have been won in-hand, in harness, and under both English and Western saddles. As a broodmare, Kate has also produced foals that have gone on to become National Champions in their own right.

Thorin (#B-TR-10632) is a unicorn who is a tribute to both stormy skies and the rainbow that comes afterward. He's decorated with a glossy shaded grey coat highlighted by blue interference, contrasting with the vibrant purple and blue hues of his mane and tail. With a silver horn that flashes like lightning and thunderous hoofbeats that echo for miles, he's truly the perfect storm.

A "bear"-y fun new addition for 2026 is the Black Bear and Cub Set (#B-TR-10330). With its characteristic brown-black coat and tawny muzzle, the North American black bear is the smallest and most common bear found in North America. Its wide variety of habitats, from mountainous forests to Southern bayous, is a testament to the adaptability that has enabled the species to survive for more than 1 million years. What adventures will you take this mama bear and her cub on?

Our fiery addition to the Halloween Horse series for 2026 is Fuego (#B-TR-10619). Alert, fast and fearsome, Fuego embodies the spirit of the dragon as a change burns through him before he takes off into the night. His glow-in-the-dark white markings have taken on the form of fire-breathing dragons, soaring amongst yellow dappling that’s reminiscent of scales. Available summer/fall 2026.

The Holiday Horse series celebrates its 30^th year with the 2026 Holiday Horse, Holiday Homecoming (#B-HP-10537)! Adorned with a festive plaid blanket with snaffle bit-style chain detailing, this fine Thoroughbred stallion carries a gift of holiday decorations - holly and ornaments! His pearly white coat gleams like freshly-fallen snow, accenting his classic look and creating the perfect backdrop for his winter finery. Available fall/winter 2026.

Gambit (#B-TR-10633), a beautiful sooty buckskin blanket appaloosa pony, will also be jumping into Breyer Flagship retailers this spring! If you'd like to add him to your collection, reach out to your favorite local Breyer retailer! Flagship models can only be purchased in-person at their stores.

Freedom Series

A new assortment of Freedom Series models is arriving in 2026! Choose from six exciting horse breeds to expand your stable:

Sapphira (#B-FS-10799) is a magical unicorn who thrives in her forest home. Molded in translucent "clearware" plastic, Sapphira sparkles in the sunlight and is a bold yet gentle keeper of magic.
