New Fall 2023 Releases!

The fall season is gearing up to be an incredible one for the world of Breyer! We have a total of six new releases that will be arriving in the Breyer line between September and November 2023, just in time for the holiday season. With the exception of Barranco, all of these models will be part of our regular line and will be available both at your favorite local retailer and BreyerHorses.com around the ship dates indicated below.

Leif (#1879) is our Fall Decorator model for 2023! In celebration of the autumn season, Leif’s coppery, shimmery coat is decorated with falling golden leaves. It’s easy to “fall” for such a handsome horse who celebrates the magic of this time of year! But like the leaves themselves, this Limited Edition model will only be around for a fleeting moment before dashing away on the brisk winds. Ships September 2023.

The Cheryl White Rider, Horse and Book Set (#6236) is almost here! First revealed at BreyerFest, and featured in a recent Good Morning America piece, this special set celebrates America’s first Black female jockey. Cheryl White began racing when she was only 17 years old, and her skills fortitude resulted in more than 750 career wins. The set includes a Freedom Series model of Cheryl’s favorite racehorse, Jetolara, plus racing tack, a posable doll of Cheryl, and a paperback copy of the novel The Jockey & Her Horse by Sarah Maslin Nir and Raymond White, Jr. Ships September 2023.

Thoroughbred racehorse Cody’s Wish (#B-TR-10038) has made a name for himself both for his impressive track record and heartwarming story. In 2018, Cody Dorman, a young boy living with a rare genetic disorder, visited Kentucky’s Gainborough Farm on a trip arranged for him by Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. During that visit, a weanling that walked right up to Cody and put his head in his lap – this experience inspired the colt’s name, Cody’s Wish. Now an actively-competing racehorse, Cody’s Wish has gone on to become one of the sport’s leading stars, with honors including a Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile win and the Secretariat Vox Populi award in 2022. A $10,000 donation is being made by Breyer to Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Ships November 2023.

Our second of two Traditional portrait models arriving in fall 2023 is Clooney 51 (#BR-TR-10040). This grey 2006 Westphalian gelding became an international superstar for Switzerland and the most successful horse in Swiss show jumping history, winning multiple Grand Prix titles and over $3 million in prize money. With rider Martin Fuchs, Clooney competed in two Olympics and amassed many notable titles, including individual silver at the 2018 World Equestrian Games and individual gold at the 2019 FEI European Championships, until he was retired in 2022. Ships November 2023.

Norwich (#712527) is a sleek and sophisticated Hackney Pony with a sparkling chestnut coat. These high-stepping ponies are best known for their flashy, ground-covering trot, which has made them both a smart and fashionable choice for driving. Norwich’s name is a nod to the English cathedral city where the Hackney Horse Society was originally founded in 1883. Ships November 2023.

Finally, our Brick and Mortar special run for 2023 is Barranco (#1878), a handsome Peruvian Paso! These naturally-gaited horses are cherished for their “brio” – their exciting but controlled energy – plus their beauty and smooth gaits. They are popular trail riding, show, and pleasure horses. Named after a district in Peru’s capital city of Lima, Barranco is a richly-shaded bay stallion with lots of chrome!
