¡Salud! - The 2025 Breyer Ambassador Model

The first Breyer Ambassador models of 2025 were given out this past weekend at BreyerMidwest in Kansas, so it's officially time for an introduction - meet ¡Salud! His name translates to "cheers!" in Spanish to tie into our "Cheers to 75 Years" theme for BreyerFest this year. Breyer Ambassador models are awarded to our hard-working artists, volunteers and content creators that help make BreyerFest, BreyerMidwest and other Breyer events the robust experiences that they are.

Artist Lesli Kathman designed a unique "modular" white pattern for ¡Salud! that will give all three colorways even more variety beyond just their base color. She was inspired by the Mangalarga Paulista breed, which is native to Brazil and has many unique colors and patterns that are rarely found in other breeds. They are closely related to the Mangalarga Marchador, another Brazilian breed that Breyer has made models of in the past.

Breyer Ambassadors will receive one of three colorways for their ¡Salud! model:

• Black with "belton spotting" - small, dense black spotting in the whites of his pattern
• Fleabitten grey with a "reverse marking" - a solid-colored "sock" on the hind leg
• A third colorway to be revealed at BreyerFest this summer!
