Sergeant Reckless Now Available on!

Breyer's Traditional portrait model of Sergeant Reckless is now available on!

Sgt Reckless
Sergeant Reckless was a little Mongolian mare began her military career as a simple pack horse, and ended with the rank of Sergeant! During the Korean War she held a very important job during the war- carrying heavy ammunition to the Marines at the front lines. At the Battle of Outpost Vegas in March 1953, Reckless carried almost five tons of ammunition over the course of a few days through "no man's land" to the frontlines, and also carried wounded soldiers to safety!

This unstoppable mare was loved by her Marines and helped boost the morale of her Division. Click here to learn more about this amazing real horse hero!

Sergeant Reckless

It's wonderful to see that Breyer honors vets from the "Forgotten War". A war that we did not lose. I plan to buy her and help support efforts in creating a monument in her honor. Great job Breyer for bringing her to light.
