BreyerFest was the Best Yet!

Special thanks to our Guest Horses

Getting to meet the real horse that inspired the Breyer model is probably one of the best reasons to come to BreyerFest. The opportunity to see and pat the real horse, talk to the owners and visit the stables is a true highlight of the event! This year we had an exceptional group of guest horses and we wanted to pay tribute to them here! And we especially want to thank all of our local performers as well. From the Mounted Games Contestants to the Friesians and from the Bluegrass Miniatures to the Kentucky Amblers, we thank you all for the splendid performances!

Thank you so much Breyerteam for posting the great pics! I hate any year that I am unable to attend the Breyerfest but this was one of those years. REALLY looking forward to next year! My husband and I just found out a month ago that our plant is closing so we don't have jobs and one of the first things I thought of was "Oh no, I have to get a job so I can keep my models and go to Breyerfest next year!" That is one of the driving forces helping to keep me focused! I don't want to have to miss it! ONce again, thanx for the pics for those of us who weren't able to attend and, hopefully, (keeping fingers crossed,) I'll see you all next year!

I have a picture of Topsail in my photo album sleeping in his stall at BreyerFest. My guess is he in the 14.2 hand range he's not that big. two of my mares are 14.3 hands and Slider seemed a bit shorter. I stood by him too when he was begin ridden around the grounds. Thanks for a great first impression Breyer as my first time going to BreyerFest I'm hooked and booked to go next year! Hope to see Lady C next year! she was my very favorite horse there followed by Lindsays Faith! Loved watching Lady C preform and meeting her, petting her and I loved her personality! She was so friendly to me and love to nuzzle you, must of knew I'm the guy who loves spoil his mares and figured I'd spoil her too. LOL! My wife and I really loved BreyerFest and can't wait till next years, only complaint I have is those three days went by so fast!

I'm so glad I got to lil Tennessee Titan! I really hope he comes next year, I'd like to meet him up-close! (I saw him pulling his little cart, he was out 30 feet away!) :D

Topsail Reinmaker

I stood right next to Topsail Rein Maker on his way to the covered arena. I would guess him to be about 14.1 or 14.2. I asked the guy riding him how tall he was and he said he never measured him. Though his stature is smaller than most horses, he is very athletic and typical of a foundation type Quarter Horse. He was very sweet and quite the gentleman. You would never have guessed he was a stallion. Super nice accomplished horse. Big things come in small packages!

There's always next year - our 25th!

"Slider" does look small in this picture but what you can't really see is that he is standing on the downside of a slight knoll so it is a bit deceptive!

Looks like fun. I so wish I was able to go to BFest. The minis are adorable and Topsails Rien Maker looks a lot smaller than I thought!
