Fjord Stallion | Brown Dun

The Norwegian Fjord is one of the world's oldest and purest horse breeds. These unique horses are strong enough for heavy work, such as plowing fields or pulling timber, yet light and agile enough to be a good riding horse.

About 90% of all Fjords are brown dun in color - the rest are shades of red, grey, white or yellow dun. This primitive dun color, complete with leg and dorsal striping, is a hallmark of the breed, as is their iconic mane that is often cut short to accentuate its contrasting black and white hairs.
