2026 Collector Club Special Run

The first Collector Club Special Run of the year is Lavinia, a Vanner mare. The Vanner horse has its roots in Great Britain and Ireland, where they pulled caravans and were enjoyed by the whole family. Introduced to the United States in 1996, they’re quickly growing in popularity due to their incredible looks and wonderful temperament!

Equine coat color expert Lesli Kathman designed Lavinia’s gorgeous black tobiano-sabino coat. Vanners commonly have coats with colorful sabino patterning, which can appear very roan-like. This quality can make dark markings appear lighter, like it has with Lavinia! The sabino patterning also impacts the edges of her tobiano markings, making them “lacy” and irregular in appearance. Lavinia features “Collector Club 2026” on her belly in silver.
