Torosaurus was an herbivore who lived during the Upper Cretaceous period, between 66 and 68 million years ago. It is believed to have had the longest skull of any land animal, measuring about 9 feet. The frill is extremely long in comparison to the remainder of the skull. Overall, Torosaurus measured about 26-30 feet head to tail. Its name means Perforated Lizard.
