Throw a BreyerFest Watch Party!
Celebrate "Midsummer Fair" with an at-home bash for your friends and family!
We know that we said last week that those models were the last batch of BreyerFest auction models, and that was technically correct – this last one is too special to be grouped with the rest of the bunch.
In Norse Mythology, Sleipnir is the eight-legged horse ridden by the Norse god Odin, and is one of the children of Loki. You can read more about that wild tale in the Gylfaginning, which is one of the books of the Prose Edda. Sleipnir is the most mentioned horse in both the Poetic and Prose Eddas, as well as the Völsunga Saga, and is depicted on stone carvings from Gotland that date back to the 8th and 9th centuries.
The team at Breyer is excited to present this stunning factory custom of Sleipnir as Lot #21 for this year’s Live Auction, being hosted on Saturday evening in the Beer Garden.

Presented on the Nokota mold, #705, Sleipnir has been done in a beautifully shaded dark dapple grey with icy blue eyes and eight legs. A truly unique piece of Breyer history!
