Throw a BreyerFest Watch Party!
Celebrate "Midsummer Fair" with an at-home bash for your friends and family!
Your virtual BreyerFest experience doesn’t just have to be a solo activity – it can be a celebration with family and friends that will be a weekend to remember! You don’t have to be a master crafter or party planner to make it happen, either. A “watch party” is the perfect way to celebrate BreyerFest 2026: Midsummer Fair with us from anywhere in the world. Below are some tips for throwing a party to remember!
A great party starts with an invitation! That can be as simple as a text message, or elaborate as a themed invite drawn by hand or created digitally. Include dates (July 10th-12th!), times, location, and any special requests for your guests.
This year’s BreyerFest theme, “Midsummer Fair,” is inspired by the cultural traditions of the Scandinavian region. What better way to explore them than through food? From cinnamon rolls to Swedish meatballs, the sweet and savory flavors of Scandinavia will be the perfect accompaniment to your watch party. Divide and conquer – invite your friends to each bring their own dish for a delicious potluck! Find a variety of Scandinavian recipe ideas here.
Scandinavia has so many icons that will be right at home decorating your watch party – Dala horses, julbocks, and more. Plan ahead and order decorations online, or make your own! In addition to cultural icons, you can also use Scandinavian flags and their colors as inspiration, along with classic Breyer blue and yellow. Of course, Breyer models also make perfect décor as well – you can use pieces from your own collection or invite guests to bring their own herd members along for the party.

There’s nothing wrong with coming to the watch party as you are, but an overarching theme for attire is a great conversation starter for your guests. This is another spot where you can use the colors of Scandinavian flags as inspiration. Other options – wear your favorite piece of BreyerFest merch or dress up as your favorite horse or Scandinavian mythological figure!

If you have real horses in your life, they can join in on the fun as well!
Make the BreyerFest Live Broadcast or Covered Arena livesteam the centerpiece of your party! Many smart TVs allow you to “cast” a video or webpage from your phone or laptop or big-screen viewing. Alternatively, you can also connect a laptop directly to most TVs using an HDMI cord, which will duplicate the picture on your TV screen.
