A Reminder About Thursday!

A Reminder About Thursday!

We are so excited to be welcoming Breyer fans to Lexington this week! The Events Team has been in town since last week, and this week we are seeing areas of the city come to life with fans in town for BreyerFest. It’s so incredible!

As we’ve mentioned previously, BreyerFest activities have been expanded into four days of the weekend, with activities getting started on Thursday, July 10th, before things really kick into gear on the 11th.

So, what is happening on July 10th?

At the Clarion

During the day, swing on by to check out the Resin Renaissance and Breakables Model Horse shows, both happening until around 5 pm.  In the evening, we are hosting the Breyer Birthday Bash from 7 to 11 pm, and the Glow painting workshop* will be from 8-10 pm. Yes, the shuttle from the KHP (green route) and the Hotel Loop shuttle (yellow route) will both be running, starting at 6 pm Thursday evening.  We encourage guests looking to come to the Clarion in the evening to take advantage of the shuttle buses.

Also happening at the Clarion will be Will Call. If you’d like your QR codes printed for you, our Will Call team can take care of that for you, free of charge.

As well, if you’re a seller in either the Artisans’ Gallery or the Swap Meet, please pick up your packets at Will Call between 10 am and 3 pm.  These include your badges and other important information.

At the Kentucky Horse Park

The Alltech Arena is the only venue where activities will be taking place.  In the morning, if you’re registered for a Thursday workshop*, those will be in the South Expo Hall.  In the North Expo Hall, feel free to check out the Performance and Mini divisions of the Open Model Horse Show.  If you do plan to visit the Open Show, please remember not to touch any of the models.

No other parts of the KHP will be open on Thursday for BreyerFest.

The activities in and around the Covered Arena, including guest horse stabling, Celebration Park, the vendor marketplace, the BreyerFest Store, the Special Run Line, the VIP tent, kids activities, etc are CLOSED to visitors until we open the gates of BreyerFest on Friday morning, July 11th.  Please do not come to the main areas of BreyerFest on Thursday July 10th.

*All workshops required pre-registration and are sold out.  If you are not registered for a workshop, please do not visit these areas.
