Barreling Towards the Equine Demos!

For today’s demo highlight we encourage all the clapping, cheering, and whistling as you cheer on the fastest horse! We are excited to welcome barrel racer Jessica Frederick and her two horses to BreyerFest this summer! Jessica Frederick is a professional horse trainer from Cynthiana, Kentucky. She competes in the southeast region of the country in various barrel racing & speed events representing her Moon Cat Farm.

Traveling with her horses is not just a hobby and she takes great pride in showing them at their prime! Just this past year, she has earned World Championship honors at the Palomino World Show in both barrels and poles and also regained her barrel champion title at the 2024 Retired Racehorse Project (RRP) at the Kentucky Horse Park. That was her second championship retraining an off the track thoroughbred for barrels. This past year she had the privilege of riding one of famous Triple Crown Winner, American Pharaoh’s colts! He was a one-eyed wonder, but always gave her his best and his best showed above the rest at the RPP this year! Jessica is fortunate at the farm to also offer training and riding lessons, and her hope is to encourage others to grow in the horse industry, encourage them to chase their dreams.

Showem The Chrome is an 8yr old AQHA gelding. He is a 2 x Palomino Horse World Champion in the Palomino Bred classes. He has multiple NBHA, IBRA and NPBA placings in the 1D. He is also a AQHA World Championship show qualifier. His Grandsire is Dash Ta Fame and he also has Streaking Six, Firewater Flit and Easy Jet in his breeding. Chrome has a heart of gold and does everything he can to please you. He is a super hard-working horse that puts 110% into everything he does.

Wicked Again is a 5yr old off the track thoroughbred. He is sired by Gun Runner out of Just Wicked by Tapit. Wicked was bred in Kentucky and raced 11 times with 1 win, 2 seconds and 2 thirds. He earned $124,150 in his racing career. After his last race April of 2024 his connections, decided to retire him and he was sent to the Rerun Thoroughbred adoption facility where Jessica acquired him. He is now starting his second career as a barrel horse where he will be shown at various barrel races and compete in the Retired Racehorse Project Thoroughbred Makeover held at the Kentucky Horse Park.
