Best of BreyerFest: Prost!

Just a little over a week ago we were all still enjoying ourselves at BreyerFest: Prost! Horse lovers of all ages flocked to the Kentucky Horse Park to enjoy a weekend of real horses, model horses, shopping, workshops, Stablemates painting, raffles and more!

BreyerFest kicked off Thursday with the Resin Renaissance Model Horse Show, Artisan’s Gallery, and Swap Meet at the Clarion Hotel. We had quite the turnout of artists, sellers, and buyers. With the finalists of the Best Customs Contest on display and all the incredible models in the rooms, there was plenty of great pieces to look at!

Opening day did not disappoint as lines were already wrapping around the parking lot. The excitement in the air was tangible. As guests walked down the front entrance they were greeted by Pal-O-Mine and the Mountain Top Polka Band playing festive German tunes.

In the Covered Arena fans got to enjoy hours of equine demonstrations from guest horses and various breed groups. On Saturday and Sunday, the highly-anticipated raffles wrapped up the busy day in the arena.

Guests were able to enjoy a variety of free activities - Celebration Park was busy from open to close. With pony rides, the kids jump-off, Cincinnati Circus entertainment, the Big-Dig/Dino Dig, petting zoo, and the popular Beer Garden, there was so much fun to have!

Every guest shares one thing in common at BreyerFest: the love of horses! Autographs are where Breyer fans get to meet their models in person. The smiles said it all as guests got to meet guest horses from 2020, 2021, and 2022!

What's BreyerFest without a little (or a lot of) shopping? Between the two BreyerFest stores, vendors, and Special Runs there was something for everyone to enjoy. Maybe a grail or two was found in the plethora of options!

For our hobby enthusiasts, the Open and Children/Youth Model Horse Shows were in full force Friday and Saturday. Just around the corner were workshops where guests registered to partake in 1 of 36 amazing offerings!

The Live Auction was one to remember. It truly was a great day for Breyer's many beneficiaries. While many show-stopping pieces were added to various lucky bidders' herds, the one that made Breyer History was lot #19, the Glossy Silver Dun Pegasus, which sold for $65,000!

Wrapping up the day on Friday and Saturday was the crowd favorite Celebration of Horses Evening Show. Produced by Sylvia Zerbini, “The Power of Your Dreams,” had fans on the edge of their seat and in awe of the beauty and power of the horse!

The crowd was treated to gravity defying acts from Ascent Equestrian Vaulters!

While we are sad BreyerFest: Prost! has come to a close the memories, laughs, and models will last forever!
