BreyerFest Store Entry & Line Information

BreyerFest Store Entry & Line Information

If you’ve been to BreyerFest in the last few years, then you know the deal – the line for the BreyerFest Store located in the Covered Arena is in a big tent across the way in the Walnut Schooling Ring. This year, that line tent will be sharing the Walnut Schooling Ring with the Craft Tent and the Hands-on Hobby Tent.

If you’re new to BreyerFest, before you can even line up to shop in the BreyerFest Store, there is a bit of protocol you should know. This protocol is in place to ensure an orderly shopping experience for everyone in the morning, since we know fans are excited and eager to get their models and other items.

If shopping for this year’s Limited Editions, Holiday or Halloween product, or event merch is your top priority, then arriving first thing in the morning to shop in the store is the thing to do. It doesn’t matter which day – the store is stocked each morning for to ensure availability of everything for shoppers. This is not the case with the online store, which does not have a daily restock.

The deal with the “numbers” – each morning of BreyerFest, Breyer staff come around with printed out numbers, 1-300, which are your literal ticket to shop in the BreyerFest Store first thing in the morning. This happens all three days of the weekend, so if you miss getting a number Friday, you can try again on Saturday or Sunday. You will want to be in the RED LINE below for Store numbers.

Map of BreyerFest showing the red line for the store and the green line for general event admission.

·        Your whole party must be in line when Breyer Staff give out the numbers. Breyer Staff are not permitted to give numbers out for people who are not physically in the line, this includes members of your group who are waiting in their cars or in the bathroom.

·        After all fans follow the Kentucky Horse Park Police into the event, head to the Walnut Schooling Ring where the giant line tent is located.  Numbers will be taken IN ORDER and guests will line up in the line tent before they are able to enter the store in the Covered Arena.

·        If you do not have a number, you are not able to shop in the BreyerFest Store until all numbered guests have gone through – we recommend enjoying the BreyerFest opening ceremony in the Covered Arena or painting a Stablemates model in the Craft Tent while you wait.

·        Once everyone is lined up, guests will be ushered into the BreyerFest Store in groups to shop until the line is done.

If you’ve been to BreyerFest before, you might remember that to get into the store, you exited the line tent, walked across the street, down towards the arena exit gate, and then up a ramp to the concourse. This is NO LONGER the entrance to the store. Guests looking for seating in the Covered Arena to watch the equine demonstrations are welcome to use this ramp to access seating in the Arena, or the restrooms, but this route will not have access to the BreyerFest Store.

The NEW entrance to the BreyerFest Store in the Covered Arena will be up the driveway along the east side of the building and through the open roll-up door at the end of the concourse at the top of the driveway. There will be no access to the BreyerFest Store from the concourse of the Covered Arena; you must enter through this door.

BreyerFest will be here before you know it, so stick around on the BreyerFest Blog for more information coming your way!

The map has me confused. Is the line for shop tickets inside the KHP grounds or in the parking lot? Its hard to tell bc the entrance is behind the red line.
Also were is the area to pick up the special runs?
I haven’t been there in years. I thought the Alltech arena was a good long walk away from the main park grounds?
I need gps.

Ok I’ve been to BreyerFest the past two years this one’s my third and I’m so confused I’ve learned over the years to read this over and I just don’t understand what the heck is the walnut schooling ring is the tent where you get the thing the same or not

Will we then be walking up the grassy incline to enter the store? I have concerns this could be a safety issue, those areas tend to get slippery in rain and the rough incline could cause falls in disabled, it will also cause trouble with automatic carts or wheelchairs. I hope Breyer has considered these concerns. Thank you
