Celtic Fling! Diorama Contest
To celebrate this year’s Celtic Fling at BreyerFest, 3-Day ticket holders are invited to create dioramas, using any scale Breyer model, depicting scenes from Celtic mythology or something from the early history of Great Britain or Ireland (300 BCE – 1300 CE).
The British Isles have a deeply-rooted equine history and rich folkloric tales. Be inspired by the ancient gods and goddesses like The Morrigan, Lugh, and The Dagda or the mythical heroes like Cú Chulainn and Fionn mac Cumhaill, or even real-life heroes like Boudicca, Alfred the Great, and William Wallace – all with horses by their sides every step of the way!
We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Diorama Contest Rules:
- One entry per person.
- All entries must be created using a least one Breyer Model (any scale).
- All entries must stand upright on a table and fit entirely inside a 12" cube; including bases, stands, and attachments (entries will be measured).
- Any media, attachments, and bases can be used as long as it fits the size requirement above.
- Entry must be accompanied by a 3" x 5" index card with a description of the diorama on one side and name, age, city and state on the other side.
