Contest Reminder!

Just in case you’re new to the BreyerFest party (or just new to the BreyerFest Blog) we wanted to let you know that we’ve got some awesome contests that fans can participate in!

The BreyerFest Best Customs Contest honors the best of the best in model horse customizing, from excellent finishwork, to dramatic re-sculpting, to superb tack. 

Each year, this contest receives entries from some of the most incredible artists in the model horse hobby, who judge the entries on their execution and creativity.  If you’re a model horse artist or tack maker who would like to spotlight your creation, you can read more about this contest and review the official rules here.

You do not need to be a BreyerFest ticket holder to enter this contest, but if you’re selected as a finalist, your creation does need to be exhibited at the Clarion during BreyerFest weekend, either with you or a proxy.

Not looking for the high-stakes competition of the Best Customs Contest but still interested in letting your creativity shine?  The BreyerFest Diorama Contest is the place for you!

This year’s theme is “Cheers to 75 Years!”  We are celebrating 75 incredible years of Breyer history.  From its inception in 1950, the Breyer brand has maintained its position as the premier brand of model horses and collectibles, with an unmatched commitment to authenticity, quality, and realism.  Entrants are invited to celebrate this milestone by creating a diorama, using any scale Breyer model, that depicts their favorite Breyer moment from the last 75 years.  From your first BreyerFest to finding that grail model, which moment will you choose?

This contest is open to VIP, All-Access, and Online Traditional Access ticket holders only and entrants are invited to bring the creations to the Hands-on Hobby Tent at the Kentucky Horse Park during BreyerFest weekend to show them off!  Winners will receive a beautiful glossy version of this year’s BreyerFest Celebration Horse, “Tight Lines.”
