Contests at BreyerFest!

If you love model horses and are looking to get crafty with them on a whole new level, BreyerFest has some fun contests you can participate in! 

Our Diorama Contests and the Best Customs Contest encourage everyone from the novice to the seasoned artist to take models in their collection to a whole new level.

For this year’s Diorama Contest, we are commemorating all things Nordic with our Nordic Celebrations theme highlighting the different holidays and festivals that take place throughout this region. From Walpurgis Night (which is coming up in a few weeks!) to Våffeldage (waffle day), there are plenty of celebrations to recreate with your diorama. The deadline to submit your entry is 5:00 pm EDT on Friday, May 22, 2026, so there are only six short weeks left to get your entry completed! For those looking for a bit more of a challenge, our BreyerFest Best Customs Contest is the venue to showcase your artistic abilities.  This contest honors the best in model horse customizing, including resculpting and finishwork. Artists can enter one of six divisions – Excellence in Finishwork, Most Extreme, Fantasy, Tack Making, Glow Ups, and Performance Excellence – for a chance to win exclusive model horse prizes created just for the winners of this contest.
