Diorama Contest
Glad Midsommar!
This year at BreyerFest, we are celebrating Midsummer, a popular Nordic festival that welcomes the summer solstice! Inspired by the rich cultural traditions of Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Iceland, we will showcase their incredible horse breeds, history, mythology, food, art, music and more, decorated in the florals and festivities that are hallmarks of Midsummer. Celebrate with us by participating in our “Midsummer Fair” diorama contest where entrants are asked to create a diorama, using any scale Breyer model (excluding CollectA) that depicts a Nordic or Scandinavian festival or celebration.
This is an online contest open to BreyerFest 2026 VIP, All-Access, and Online Traditional Access ticket holders where allowed.*
From Walpurgis Night to våffeldage (waffle day) there are plenty of festivals or celebrations to recreate! Let your imagination soar! Take photographs of your entry and pick the four images you like best. Then submit the photographs of your creation via email to be judged and you might win a Glossy version of this year’s BreyerFest Celebration Horse model, Corgi Hill Flinka (Estimated Retail Value “ERV” $500 USD)!
Many will enter, but only twenty (20) will win (five (5) entries in each of four (4) age groups)! See below and Official Rules for details.
Select eligible dioramas will be displayed online in each age group so fans can see the different Nordic festivals as presented by you, our entrants! (Please note: Just because an entry is posted online does not mean it is or will be a winner).
We can’t wait to see your creation!
Dioramas will not be displayed onsite at BreyerFest in 2026. Please enjoy them at home! Any diorama dropped off at the park will be discarded. Note: Attending BreyerFest in person has no impact on the outcome of the Contest. Contest and judging is exclusively online and Contest winners are selected and notified prior to BreyerFest.
HOW TO ENTER:
• To create your BreyerFest 2026 Nordic Celebration Diorama Contest (“Contest”) entry, first select any Nordic or Scandinavian festival to use as inspiration for your diorama. Create your Nordic Celebration diorama using any materials you would like. Your diorama must include at least one Breyer model horse in any scale (excluding CollectA), must stand upright, and must fit within a 12” (30.48 cm) cube (including all bases, stands, and attachments). Your diorama must be solely created by you, the entrant, without assistance from anyone. Your diorama should not include any trademarks, logos, or brand names (other than Breyer). Your diorama should be family-friendly and in good taste. Once you are done, take pictures of your diorama and pick the four pictures you like the best. At least ONE (1) of your photos MUST include a ruler for scale.
• At least one (1) Breyer model (any scale, excluding CollectA) must be used in your diorama entry. If you choose to use a figure/doll, it must be a Breyer figure/doll, or a figure/doll created entirely by you. • Email (or have your parent or legal guardian email, if under age 13) four (4) digital photographs of your Nordic Celebration diorama entry (JPEG or PNG files between 500kb and 2MB each, but not more than 2MB each) and a brief explanation of the festival that inspired your entry to dioramas@reevesintl.com.
