Final Call For The BCC!

Attention artists!  This is your last call for Best Customs Contest entries!  The deadline is this Friday, June 13^th at 5 pm EDT to submit your entry photos!

The Best Customs Contest at BreyerFest celebrates the best of the best in model horse customizing, from incredible finishwork, to detailed tack, to outstanding re-sculpts presented in our most extreme and fantasy categories.  It is truly incredible to witness the outstanding artistry presented through this contest.

While you’re putting the finishing touches on your entries, here are a couple of reminders as you’re submitting your entries –

·       Your entry should be emailed to customs@reevesintl.com and needs to include:

o   Your entry images, one of which must be an in-progress shot

§  If you are entering the Glow Ups or Most Extreme Category, please be sure to include an image of the original model used, for a side-by-side comparison.

o   The name/mold number of the original/underlying Breyer model used

o   The name of the Division you are entering

o   The footprint of your entry (24” x 24” or 18” x 30”)

o   Your name, age (at the time of entry), mailing address, telephone number, and email address - as well as parent/legal guardian’s email address and statement of parental consent if under age 18 (or under the legal age of majority in the entrant’s state of residence in the U.S.– whichever is greater) at time of entry.

o   Performance Excellence Division entries must include a brief description detailing the discipline and class being performed.

o   Fantasy Division entries must include a brief description of what they are presenting. 

o   If you are entering the Glow Ups Category, please be sure to include an image of the original model used, for a side-by-side comparison.

·       Email your photos as attachments, not embedded in the body of your email.  This is easier to do on a computer versus sending from your phone.  If you want to make sure they are attached properly as per the rules, we recommend sending from a computer if you can.

·       Please be sure the subject of your email is “BF2025 Best Customs Contest”

Finalists will be contacted on or around June 27^th and must get their entries to BreyerFest in Lexington, Kentucky for final judging during BreyerFest weekend.  We look forward to seeing all of your amazing creations and celebrating 75 years of Breyer with such an incredible group of artists.
