From the Horse’s Mouth - Part One
A Guide to BreyerFest from the Planning Team
Ticket Types
We can’t believe it’s already November and that in a few short months, BreyerFest tickets will be going on sale!
To get everyone ready, we wanted to walk through all the ticket types that BreyerFest guests will be receiving, since there are quite a few that will be arriving in your ticket packet and we want to make sure there is no confusion. This year your ticket packs will look completely different than they have in the past, and we hope this quick rundown makes them a little easier to navigate once they are in hand.
First and foremost is your wristband. Whether you are a 3-Day ticket holder or a single-day ticket holder, all guests receive (and MUST wear) an entry wristband. We understand that not everyone can wear these on their wrists, which is fine, but it must be visible on your person while you are at BreyerFest and will be checked by staff. Wristband types will be explained in the information you receive in your ticket packet, so please be sure to read this to avoid any confusion.
Second is your model redemption ticket, which is slightly larger than a standard playing card – and there are two different types, depending on the type of tickets you’ll purchase. Three-day ticket holders will have a Model Redemption ticket with 2020’s Celebration Model, Ballynoe Castle RM, on it and Single-Day Model Redemption tickets will have images of 2020’s “gambler’s choice” Single-Day Stablemates models. These tickets can be turned in at their respective model handout locations, where you will receive the corresponding event model.
Here are some examples of tickets from previous years to help you out.

Included in all Three-Day ticket packs is an evening show ticket for the night you select when ordering, which is also slightly larger than a standard playing card, but will have an image from our Evening Celebration of Horses on it – probably with dramatic moody lighting, and definitely with a real horse image. Your tickets will be for either Friday or Saturday night (whichever evening you select) and the different nights will have unique designs. Single-Day ticket holders who upgrade their tickets to include the evening show will also receive this ticket type in their packet.

Finally, for 3-Day ticket holders only, you’ll receive the coveted Special Run ticket. This long rectangular ticket has a lot going on, so let’s break it down. First, it has the day and time of your Special Run shopping timeslot, which you’ll select when you order tickets. Please be sure to show up to the Special Run Line tent 15 minutes before this printed time to line up. Second, it has a number printed on it between 1 and 530. Eventually, this number will determine your place in the line, so don’t worry if it’s high (and don’t get too excited if it’s low). The person that begins each hourly Special Run timeslot is drawn randomly before the start of each time. The details about this process are explained on the back of your Special Run ticket (so please be sure to read the back side when you get it), on the BreyerFest ticketing webpage (so please read that page before purchasing your tickets), and we’ll do a blog post on this process again when we get closer to BreyerFest, just as a reminder.

We know this is a lot of information, especially for first-time attendees, but we hope that having it here on the blog to reference, especially once you have your tickets in-hand, will help you keep track of things. We will also be going through our new guide section-by-section over the next few months, so keep your eyes on the BreyerFest Blog to make sure you don't miss a thing!
