Happy New Year!
Welcome to 2023! We hope all of our BreyerFest fans had a safe and happy New Year celebration.
We wanted to kick this year off with the reveal you’ve been waiting for – this year’s BreyerFest Event Stablemates models.
Wheeler
On a hitch, the Wheeler is the horse that is in the pulling position closest to the wheels of the wagon. While this is traditionally a draft horse position in driving, our little Wheeler is a sturdy boy, done as a Dartmoor Pony on mold # 5755 in a handsome dark bay with subtle dapples, finished with a stunning gloss, and is perfect for this Driving Forward position.
Teamster
Historically, this term, which originated in the mid-18th century, is what the person was called who drove a team of draft animals pulling a wagon. Our adorable Teamster has been done on the Irish Draft, mold # 5740, in a beautiful pearly gold champagne. Our Teamster will make the perfect addition to your mini collection!
Navigator
In the Marathon phase of combined driving, the Navigator stands on the carriage immediately behind the driver of a four-in-hand cart to assist with course navigation, obstacles, and course timing. Our Navigator has been done on the American Saddlebred, mold # 5608, in a handsome, glossy chestnut tobiano with a dapper turquoise mane ribbon.
Whip
In addition to being a tool that drivers use to guide their teams, the driver of a coach or carriage is sometimes referred to as the Whip. For this year’s celebration of BreyerFest: Driving Forward, our little Whip has been done as a sassy Vanner, mold # 5732, in a beautiful bay sabino roan pinto.
Together, this beautiful set of four models will be our Four-in-Hand set of Stablemates. VIP ticket holders will each receive a complete Four-in-Hand set of models as a part of their ticket package. General Admission ticket holders and Online Stablemates Access ticket holders will each receive one randomly-selected model from the group with each ticket purchased. Please note that the purchase of multiple General Admission or Online Stablemates Access tickets does not mean that you will receive a complete set of models. Models are randomly selected and you can receive duplicates.
We will see you right back here on the BreyerFest Blog tomorrow for another fun reveal!
