Where to Find Breyer This Holiday Season
A guide to nearly 100 physical retailers across 39 states!
Earlier this month, we expanded on this year’s Midsummer Fair theme, which is inspired by the rich culture and traditions of Nordic countries. To help celebrate we had to find a special horse to represent so many unique cultures and boy did we find her!
Meet Flinka!
This sassy Norwegian Fjord is shaking up the status quo of the Dressage world! In a sport known for tall, dark warmbloods, Corgi Hill Flinka, a 15-year-old grey dun mare, is showing the world that you don’t necessarily need long legs to perform those upper-level movements!

With a big forelock and an even bigger personality, Flinka came into owner Alexandria Andrasko’s life by chance in 2014. After dabbling in jumping and driving, they found their niche in the dressage ring and started quickly moving up the levels. In shows at First, Second, and Third Levels, they remained undefeated.

While she’s made quite the name for herself at Midwestern shows, Flinka has also won multiple national championships, including the US National Pony Cup in Fourth Level and the Prix St. George. She’s also taken home multiple FEI high point and breed awards and has helped Alexandria secure her USDF Bronze and Silver medals, and her Gold medal is in progress. The pair is currently competing at the Intermediate levels and have their sights on the Grand Prix ring.

Outside of the show ring, Flinka has traveled with Alexandria to participate in various child and adult therapy sessions, showcasing her sweet side. For Alexandria, her little Norwegian Fjord has made her dreams come true in more ways than she could have ever imagined. Flinka is truly her heart horse and has shown her that the impossible can be possible with a lot of love, work, and a sassy personality!

Corgi Hill Flinka is done on the Norwegian Fjord model, mold #808 sculpted by Maggie Jenner-Bennet, in a stunning grey dun color. She will be available to select BreyerFest ticket holders, and all attendees will be able to meet this beautiful champion and her owner Alexandria next summer at BreyerFest.

Stay tuned as the BreyerFest blog globetrots through the Nordic countries, and introduces fans to the different cultures, history, geography, food, and of course the native horse breeds of this northern region! Make sure you keep those passports handy as we kick off this informative series of posts this week with the country where Flinka’s breed originated, Norway!
