A Monday Reveal!
Were you able to guess the clue from Friday’s sneak peak?
St. Hildegard, also known as Hildegard of Bingen, was a German writer, composer, philosopher, mystic, Benedictine abbess, and visionary. She is considered one of the most well know women from the Germanic Middle Ages for her writing, especially medicinal texts which, at the time, were revolutionary. Her multiple writings and compositions, including her 77 lyric poems, are still studied by historians and theologians today.
As a nod to this forward-thinking and accomplished medieval woman, this year's Open Model Horse Show Overall Reserve Champions will each get to take home their own Hildegard, a beautiful dapple rose grey done on Marabella (mold #487), sculpted by Kathleen Moody.
Good luck to all our Open Show entrants!
