Did you guess who this golden wonder was?
Meet this summer’s Diorama Contest Prize model, Stubbs!
Inspired by the paintings of his namesake artist, Stubbs has been done on the Hanoverian, mold #58, originally sculpted by Chris Hess. This handsome, vintage mold has been beautifully revived for this summer’s BreyerFest celebration in a stunning dunalino with just a touch of gold interference in the base coat.
We can’t wait for this stunning model to find his home with our Diorama Contest winners!
You can learn all about the Diorama Contest here – the deadline to enter is June 21, 2021! We can’t wait to see what you come up with.

For those who might not know- usually the diorama prize is usually on an old/not as popular mold. I was surprised with this one. Really pretty color! Even if the mold isn’t my favorite, I think I’ll still enter the contest!

the colors are pretty not so much the model

This is.. questionable. Why use such an old model for this? It looks a little odd with the bright palomino coloring and dun markings but I’m sure other people will go crazy over it.
