Earlier this week, we introduced fans to the Italian region of Lazio, which boasts thousands of years of history, stunning landscapes, and is home to Italy’s capital of Rome!
Recently, this year’s Celebration Horse model got to take a trip around Italy with Events Team member Kat and of the many places the model visited, Rome was one of them! Let’s take a look at some of the shots from Soldano’s visit to Rome!

Soldano at the Colosseum
The largest ancient amphitheater ever built, the Colosseum was constructed under the Emperors Vespasian and Titus from 72 CE to 80 CE and is made of concrete and volcanic rock. Estimated at holding about 65,000 spectators, it was used for gladiatorial combat, battle reenactments, and the staging of dramas based on Roman mythology!
Soldano at Trajan’s Forum
The most recent of the Roman Imperial fora to be constructed, Trajan’s Forum was completed in 107 CE, with the massive triumphal column officially dedicated in 113 CE. This forum was one of several fora in the area of larger Roman Forum, which was the center of daily life in the ancient city.

Soldano at the Orange Garden with St. Peter’s in the background
Perched atop the Aventine Hill is the 13th century fortress built by the Savelli family at the church of Santa Sabina. With views of the Tiber River, the neighborhood of Trastevere, and a view of St. Peter’s Basilica in the background, this peaceful garden is a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Soldano relaxing at his Airbnb
Taking some time to relax, Soldano poses for photos on the balcony of his vacation rental.
