Shuttles at BreyerFest 2024
With just about two weeks to go until BreyerFest gets started in Kentucky, we wanted to cover some logistics with attendees - specifically, some quick reminders about the BreyerFest shuttles.
BreyerFest operates four shuttle routes during BreyerFest weekend, two of which are internally routed at the Kentucky Horse Park and two of which are external loops that service the Clarion, our host hotel, that operate only in the evenings. Please note that there are no shuttles to and from the KHP and partner hotels (including the Clarion) during the day. Please plan accordingly.
KHP Loop Shuttle – the Red Route
Look for RED shuttle signs at the Kentucky Horse Park and on buses to catch the KHP Loop Shuttle. This shuttle makes continuous stops around the KHP, from the Visitor’s Center, to the BreyerFest ticket booth*, to Celebration Park, even up to the Alltech Arena, and more. These shuttles run during the daytime BreyerFest activities until about 7 PM. After the evening show at the Alltech, these shuttles will be converted into Alltech to Ticket Booth Express shuttles to make sure everyone gets back to their cars in the evening after the show.
The map of these stops will be listed in this year's event program, coming soon!
Alltech to Ticket Booth Express – the Blue Route
If you need to get up to the Alltech Arena from the ticket booth/main entrance of BreyerFest, or you’re parked at the Alltech Arena and are trying to get to the BreyerFest ticket booth/main entrance*, look for BLUE shuttle signs at the Kentucky Horse Park and on buses to catch the Alltech → Ticket Booth Express route. This shuttle only stops at the Alltech South Expo Help Desk, the Alltech main entrance, and the BreyerFest ticket booth* and runs on a continuous back and forth route. After the evening show, this route will also get you back to your car if you’re parked in the main lot of the KHP.
The map of these stops will be listed in this year's event program, coming soon!
Hotels Loop – the Yellow Route
If you’re staying at one of our partner hotels, you can hop on a shuttle bus marked with YELLOW signage (stops will also be marked at our partner hotels with yellow signs) to get to the Clarion for the evening activities on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. This shuttle runs in a continuous loop between the hotels and the Clarion from 5 PM until 11:00 PM (the last shuttle leaves the Clarion promptly at 11, so don’t miss it!) to ferry guests to and from so they don’t need to park at the Clarion. The following hotels will have stops on the Yellow Route: the Embassy Suites on Newtown Pike, the Quality Inn/Mainstay Suites on Stanton Way, and the Clarion Hotel on Newtown Pike.
KHP to Clarion Express – the Green Route
If you’re not staying at one of our partner hotels (and that’s totally okay!) but you want to enjoy the evening activities at the Clarion, you can leave your car parked at the KHP, either in the main lot or up at the Alltech, and take shuttles marked with GREEN signage from the KHP to the Clarion Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, from 5 PM to 11 PM. Please do not miss the last departure from the Clarion at 11 PM! Please note that this route only operates during evening hours. Plan accordingly for daytime activities.
*The BreyerFest Ticket Booth/main entrance stop is across from the American Saddlebred Museum and indicated by a gazebo with shuttle signage. There is not a stop directly in front of the BreyerFest entrance.
