We say this each year, and this year it was no less true than it’s been in years past – despite the transition to a virtual event – but we could NOT do this event without the help of our amazing volunteers.
This year’s event was entirely volunteer-supported in the following areas – the Open Model Horse Photo Show, the Youth & Children’s Model Horse Clinics, the Breakables online photo show, the Workshops, the Seminars, and our virtual “help desk” support staff.
THANK YOU.
This year’s incredible volunteers will be receiving this handsome model, “Ben Nevis.” Ben Nevis, located in the Scottish Highlands, is the tallest peak in the British Isles, standing proudly at over 4,400 feet tall. We hope that our volunteers stand as proudly as this guy, done on Flash (mold #594), sculpted by Susan Carlton Sifton.
Your Ben Nevis model may have been a flaxen liver chestnut tobiano pinto...
Or was yours done as a bright chestnut tobiano pinto? We love a good surprise!
Thank you again to all of our amazing BreyerFest volunteers!

Thank you BreyerFest volunteers for aiding in such a wonderful event! I loved the workshops and seminars and demos SO much! And these models are completely incredible. Easily my favorite volunteer models ever. That liver chestnut is to die for. Beautiful work!

Hey Michelle – you’ll be glad to know that Rachel’s efforts have not gone unnoticed! We are big fans of her work at Road to BreyerFest and appreciate all her hard work!

Hey Breyer, if you happen to have a spare volunteer Model lying around, I think you should send one to Rachel Alford who runs the Facebook “Road to Breyerfest” page. She works really hard on all social media platforms to help people to navigate all things Breyerfest. She fields many questions the people would otherwise bombard you with. She is a great ambassador for Breyerfest.
Thanks,
Michelle

Thank you Breyer! I had so much fun judging the Open show! It was almost as good as judging in person. I’m looking forward to opening my model and seeing which one I got!

Congratulations to all the volunteers with a special shout-out for Michelle Masters who organized the open show with professionalism & class! On a separate note, Ben Nevis brings back memories of the real Ben Nevis, a British-bred, American-owned, point-to-pointer who raced successfully during the 70’s & early 80’s. He is noted for his wins in the MD Hunt Cup, MD Grand National & English Grand National.
