The Breyer Experience

To celebrate 75 years of the Breyer Brand, this year we are teaming up with some longtime partners to create the Breyer Experience for fans.  On the concourse in the Covered Arena, in between where the exit for the store will be and the Breyer Booth, these tables will be hosting brand partners from both the model horse world and the real horse world.  This part of BreyerFest is not to be missed!

Breyer Hobby Information Experts

Previously, guests could find these model horse hobby information experts in the Hands-on Hobby tent, but for this year’s celebration of 75 years of the Breyer brand, we are hosting this knowledgeable group of volunteers on the concourse of the Covered Arena!  See incredible Breyer displays, ask your toughest questions, and learn more about the history of the Breyer brand. 

The Cloud Foundation & Wild Animal Sanctuary

Celebrating 20 years of conservation, The Cloud Foundation will be joining us once again to talk about their work in the Pryor mountains with Cloud and his herd.  The Cloud Foundation is also celebrating 30 years of Cloud’s life and his (and his herd’s) immortalization in history as Breyer models.  In conjunction with them, The Wild Animal Sanctuary will also be joining us for the first time to talk about their work with the wild horse populations of the American West.

Robin Hutton

Back again to talk about her work preserving the history of the warhorse Sgt. Reckless, Robin and her team will be joining us at a part of the Breyer Experience.  With several iterations of this incredible equine immortalized as a Breyer model, we are looking forward to sharing her history with fans during BreyerFest weekend.

The Equus Film and Arts Festival

Be sure to stop by the Equus Film and Arts Festival tables to chat with this weekend’s filmmakers!  Equus and BreyerFest have a long-standing partnership the promotes the impact horses have on all our lives and the hope they give us.  Be sure to check out this year’s film series on July 13^th in the Visitor Information Center Theater, starting at 11:30 am.  More information on this can be found in this year’s program.

NAMHSA

Created in 1994, the North American Model Horse Shows Association aims to promote all facets of the model horse hobby and provide support for the future development of model horse showing, customizing, and collecting.  Representatives of NAMHSA will be joining us all weekend long to introduce fans to the world of model horse showing.  Be sure to stop by to see their incredible displays and learn more about this fun, interactive component of the model horse hobby.
