All About That Base
Performance bases, that is!
On Saturday morning at BreyerWest (March 16th), performance and prop making expert Sandy Sanderson will be teaching attendees how to construct a durable, lightweight base for model horse performance showing - or just a footing to show off your model on the shelf!
Performance showing is like a snapshot of a real, live horse event, and bases can be a way to bring your performance entry to life! These fun Southwestern-themed bases would be perfect for adding that special finishing touch to your reining, trail riding, or other desert-inspired scene! So get ready to dig into some Plaster of Paris to shape the contour of this versatile setting. Then paint and some miniature landscaping will be added to bring your desert scene to life.
