Good Enough To Eat!

Seven-time BreyerFest Best Customs Contest Champion and sculptor of Winnifred, the most recent Premier Club release, Laura Skillern Sailer will be joining us at BreyerMidwest this winter!

Laura is the mastermind behind some of the most elaborate and gravity-defying custom creations seen at BreyerFest and she can’t wait to bring this out-of-the-box thinking to her workshop on Saturday, January 24th in her Ice Cream Sundae Bases class.

This new take on the fantasy base will have you wanting to lick the spoon as you put the finishing touches on your project – please don’t, it’s actually spackle.  These good enough to eat ice cream sundaes, made from lightweight spackle and foam, are a great way to showcase your fantasy entries to make them stand out in competition, or are just a fun way to display your models on your shelf at home.  The session includes Breyer Stablemates models for all participants!

This class is a great opportunity for hobbyists and artists of all ages and skill levels to learn a fun trick of the trade from one of the best artists in the model horse hobby, using items you can find at the hardware and grocery store.
