Adopt a Shelter Dog Raffle Winners!

October marked "Adopt a Shelter Dog Month," a month-long campaign that promotes the adoption of homeless dogs from local shelters. In celebration, Breyer hosted a raffle for two Protocol Gift Sets - a special limited edition created to benefit Danny and Ron's Rescue. Both Hunter horse trainers and dog lovers, Danny and Ron Danta started Danny and Ron's Rescue by helping homeless dogs after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. All of the rescue's dogs live in a real home instead of a shelter. Today they've placed more than 10,500 dogs with loving owners! 

Our winners have now been announced, and both are owners of beloved rescue dogs.

Sande S. of Wisconsin and her husband support animal adoptions, making their win even nicer. They currently have a rescued Beagle named Mandy, who believes that she is the queen of their household. Their previous Beagle, Lacey, was also a rescue dog. Congratulations Sande!

Mildred M. of Florida was another ideal winner of this sweepstakes. She is an advocate for pet rescue, and her last three huskies were rescues. Congratulations Mildred!
