On-Demand Workshops | National Fun Day 2025

Breyer’s 75th Anniversary-inspired National Fun Day took place on Saturday, October 11th, 2025. Four artists guided participants step-by-step through a series of fun model horse craft projects that were suitable for all ages and abilities. You can still join in on the fun and re-watch all four workshops. Videos will be up until Novemeber 3, 2025.

75th Anniversary Clocks Workshop

Inspired by the clock that started it all, the #57 Palomino Western Horse, this workshop will guide you through creating your very own Breyer 75th anniversary clock. Artist Vincent Lange will take you through the process of creating and painting your own working wooden clock and adorning it with the Breyer Freedom Series Palomino Saddlebred!

Meet Vincent Lange

Based in Germany, Vincent Lange is an artist and horse lover who specializes in custom Breyer models and artist resin sculptures. He creates both realistic and fantasy pieces ranging from lifelike coats and conformation to magical, otherworldly designs. Using a mix of skills including digital and clay sculpting, resin casting, airbrushing, and traditional painting, Vincent blends art and craftsmanship in every piece. Inspired by the storytelling and artistry behind Breyer horses, he works to capture not just the look, but the spirit of each horse. Meet Lisa Lippert

Lisa's obsession with collecting Breyers began in 2014 when she fell in love with the Ashquar mold as well as any model with spots! After finding the world of model horse customizing, she was inspired to cover a model horse with gemstones. Starting small with Stablemates models, she has since honed in her skills and now works on larger models regularly. Her biggest project to date is an Othello draft horse model that took a month and over 8,500 gems to complete! Her unique process takes time, but the outcome is worth every second.

Paint a Champagne Stablemates Workshop

Pop the “bubbly” and pour the paint water (just please don't mix them up while drinking!) and join Jenn Constantine as she paint a champagne-colored Stablemates model. Learn different techniques with acrylic paints to make this unique "double dilute" horse color shine. Perfect for beginners or more advanced artists!

Meet Jenn Constantine

In the not-too-distant past, Jenn Constantine conceived an idea for a medallion: painting a ghostly skeleton horse. This brought about "Spook," a creation that quickly became beloved and an iconic representation of Jenn's work. Jenn's artistic focus has been transforming skeletons from lifeless, cold forms into dynamic, "breathing" creatures that narrate compelling and thought-provoking stories for viewers. Her skill in acrylics paints, customizing and re-sculpting has allowed her to breathe life into various incarnations of Spook, whether in 2D flatwork or intricate custom 3D models. Other fantastical beasts have found their way into her work as well! A perpetual learner, Jenn finds great joy in refining her skills and sharing her knowledge with others.

Sparkling Fairy Suncatchers Workshop

Join renowned fantasy artist Shauna McDaniel as you create your own sparkly fairy ponies using the Stablemates suncatcher models. These sparkling little gems are quick to make and require no previous experience to make. You can even make a wingless little gem if you don't feel ready to jump into UV resin using the application techniques taught in the workshop!

Meet Shauna McDaniel

The "chaos coordinator" herself, Canadian artist Shauna McDaniel, is joining us from Calgary, Alberta. A lifelong horsewoman and experienced artist, Shauna brings a wealth of experience and positive energy to those just starting out on their customizing journey. She is known for her love of all things sparkly and loves incorporating a little (or a lot) of glitter in her art!
