Our third and final release for 2025 is Winnifred, a beautiful molly mule. The result of a cross between a female horse and a male donkey, mules have been prized as hardy work animals and loving companions for hundreds of years. They are perhaps best-known for their long ears that set them apart from many of their fellow equines.
Sculpted by artist Laura Skillern-Sailer as her first Traditional scale piece for Breyer, Winnifred is calm and alert as she stands quietly with her hind foot cocked. Laura also designed her coat color: a soft dappled chestnut pinto with pangare. In honor of Breyer’s 75th anniversary, 75 Winnifred models have been painted in an alternate "Diamond Wishes" dapple grey pinto colorway that will ship to members at random.
Packaged with all Winnifred models is your 2025 bonus Stablemates model, Isla - a special thank-you for maintaining your membership! Sculpted by Maggie Jenner-Bennett, this grazing Mustang mare is decorated in a matte dappled dun colorway inspired by our previous 2025 Premier Club release, Rowan. Isla is packaged in the same box as Winnifred in her own satin bag.
