Pluto Gratia
Lipizzan
Looking as if they stepped out of a historical painting, the stunning Lipizzan is prized for its natural talent in classical dressage. Pluto Gratia has spent his career as an ambassador of both his breed and discipline.
Foaled in 2010, Gratia spent six years performing the intricate quadrille at Tempel Farms, delighting and educating the public on the beautiful art of classical dressage. This was no simple feat, as training for this highly-choreographed dressage showcase routine can take 4 to 6 years! As a beloved schoolmaster, he also taught upper-level movements to many aspiring riders at Tempel.
Now enjoying his retirement in Colorado, Gratia spends his days grazing, exploring local trails, and continuing to inspire through the work of the Lipizzan Heritage Institute, whose mission is to preserve the Lipizzan horse and promote the heritage and practice of classical riding for generations to come.
