Breyer is excited to announce our 2021-2022 Magalog Coloring Contest! This year’s coloring page features a lovely draft horse, just waiting for your creative touch! Draft horses are versatile breeds used for a multitude of purposes, including farming, draft horse showing, logging, recreation, and driving. Additionally, these horses usually have a tall stature and extremely muscular build, as well as a good deal of feathering on their lower legs. They share common traits of strength, patience, and a docile temperament which made them indispensable to generations of pre-industrial farmers. 

We think you’re going to really enjoy coloring your version of this gentle giant, letting your imagination run free as you create your perfect draft horse! Good luck!

Entries will be judged on creativity and coloring skill, and you can use crayons, colored pencils, markers, or paints to illustrate the picture. We can't wait to see your work!

Prizes: One (1) Prize Package per age group will be awarded on or about August 22, 2022, to one (1) winner in each of the three age groups: 10 and under, 11‐16, 17 and older for a total of three  prize winners. Prize is one (1) Theo Model (item #1843; Estimated Retail Value (“ERV”) $49.99 USD) Total ERV of all three prizes is $149.97 USD. Many will enter, but only one entrant from each age group will win!

How to Enter:*

• Print or download the contest coloring sheet above and color it in using any physical medium you’d like, including crayons, colored pencils, markers, or paints.
• Scan or take a picture of your masterpiece and submit your entry by email to breyermagalog@reevesintl.com following the Official Rules below. Entry must be received by 11:59pm EDT, June 30, 2022 (July 1, 2022 at 4:59AM BST). No other method of entry will be accepted.
• Your email entry must include the subject line “2021-2022 Breyer Magalog Coloring Contest,” your digital photograph/image of your completed coloring sheet, your full name, age (at time of entry), mailing address (no PO boxes), telephone number, and email address. If under age 18 at time of entry (or under the age of majority in your state of residence in the U.S. or jurisdiction of residence in Canada), you must also include parent or legal guardian's full name, telephone number, email address, and statement of parental consent. Parent or legal guardian must submit entry if entrant is under age 13. Please note: entry information must be typed in the body of your email and not written directly on your digital photo/image.

Judging:

• Entries will be judged by a judging panel including qualified members of Sponsor’s Marketing Team and at least one similarly qualified independent judge. Each entry will be judged on the following criteria: 50% creativity and 50% coloring skill. Winners will be notified on or around August 22, 2022 and may be announced on BreyerHorses.com on or around September 1, 2022.

Parent must submit entry if entrant is under age 13. OFFICIAL RULES:

By submitting an entry, you (and your parent or legal guardian on your behalf, as applicable) agree to be bound by the following 2021-2022 Breyer Magalog Coloring Contest (“Contest”) rules (“Official Rules”):

1. This is a skill‐based contest and chance plays no part in the determination of winning. Many will enter, but only three (3) will win (one (1) will win in each of three (3) age categories as set out in Rule 12).
2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not increase your odds of winning.
3. Contest is open to legal residents of the U.S., U.K., and Canada (excluding Quebec) where allowed. Email account required. Parent must submit entry if entrant is under age 13. If selected as a potential winner, parental consent is required for entrants under age 18 (or under the legal age of majority in the entrant’s state of residence in the U.S. or jurisdiction of residence in Canada – whichever is greater). Void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law.
4. Contest begins August 1, 2021 at 12:01 AM EDT (5:01AM BST) and ends June 30, 2022 at 11:59 PM EDT (4:59 AM BST on July 1, 2022). All entries must be received by email at breyermagalog@reevesintl.com by Sponsor no later than 11:59pm EDT on June 30, 2022 (4:59 AM BST on July 1, 2022). No other method of entry will be accepted.
5. To create your Contest entry, print or download the Contest coloring sheet and color it in using any physical artistic medium including crayons, colored pencils, markers, or paints. Scan or take a picture of your completed coloring sheet and email (or have your parent or legal guardian email, if under age 13) no more than one (1) digital image of your completed Contest coloring sheet (JPEG or PNG file no more than 2MB) to breyermagalog@reevesintl.com. Parent or legal guardian must submit entry if entrant is under age 13. All photo entries must be in JPEG or PNG digital form. (All other formats, including but not limited to PDF, PSD, and BMP format will be rejected.) Image must be attached to email and not sent embedded/inline or via a digital link.
6. Your entry must include the subject line “2021-2022 Breyer Magalog Coloring Contest” along with your digital photograph/image of your completed Contest coloring sheet, your full name, age (at time of entry), mailing address (no PO boxes), telephone number, and email address as well as parent/legal guardian’s full name, email address, telephone number, and statement of parental consent if under age 18 (or under the legal age of majority in the entrant’s state of residence in the U.S. or jurisdiction of residence in Canada – whichever is greater) at time of entry. Entry and/or statement of parental consent must be submitted in English. Parent or legal guardian must submit entry if entrant is under age 13. Any entries missing the above requirements will be immediately disqualified.
7. Contact and shipping information collected will be used by Sponsor for the purposes of administering this Contest and awarding the prizes only and will not be used for marketing or other purposes. UK entrants’ personal data will be collected and used in accordance with the Contest privacy notice available here.
8. Limit one (1) entry per person.
9. All entries must be original and entirely created by the entrant.
10. Entries will be judged by a judging panel including qualified members of Sponsor's Marketing Team and at least one similarly qualified independent judge. Each entry will be judged according to the following criteria: 50% creativity and 50% coloring skill. One (1) potential winner from each of three (3) age groups (10 and under, 11‐16, and 17 and older) will be determined by the judges in their sole discretion. The decisions of the judges will be final and binding in all respects.
11. One (1) potential winner in the 10 and under age group; one (1) potential winner in the 11‐16 age group; and one (1) potential winner in the 17 and older age group will be selected on or about August 19, 2022. We will contact the potential winners (or their parent/legal guardian if under age 18 or under the legal age of majority in the entrant’s state of residence in the U.S. or jurisdiction of residence in Canada – whichever is greater) by email on or about August 22, 2022 to confirm shipping address and provide a Prize Winner Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (Declaration and Release for residents of Canada). Selected potential winners must confirm receipt of email and verify valid contact and shipping information to Sponsor, and sign and return the executed Prize Winner Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (Declaration and Release for residents of Canada), by email (instructions will be provided to potential winner in notification email) within five (5) business days or such potential winner will forfeit the prize and an alternate potential winner will be selected. The first name, first letter of last name, city and state/province/territory/county and country of each winner from each age group (unless the entrant is from the UK and has objected on lawful grounds) may be posted on the Sponsor website (www.breyerhorses.com) and Breyer social media on or about September 1, 2022. Winners agree not to publicly disclose they are winners until Sponsor announcement of winners.
12. Prize will be awarded in the name of the parent if the winner is a minor.
13. Prize: One (1) Prize will be awarded to one (1) prize winner in each of the three (3) age groups (10 and under, 11‐16, and 17 and older), for a total of three (3) winners. Prize is (1) Theo (item #1843; Estimated Retail Value (ERV) $49.99 USD each). Winner is responsible for all taxes on his/her prize. Total ERV of all 3 prizes: $149.97 USD.
14. Noncompliance or return of prize notification as undeliverable, whether by email or telephone, may result in disqualification and selection of an alternative potential winner.
15. Sponsor may substitute prizes of equal or greater value. In the event of insufficient entries for an age group (i.e., less than 1), remaining prize will be awarded to the age group with the most eligible entries.
16. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
17. Prize will ship on or about August 29, 2022 at no charge to winner. Estimated ship time approximately 1-2 weeks depending on destination.
18. Sponsor and Sponsor’s employees, retailers, and their immediate family members (i.e., spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, and/or stepchild, wherever they may live), and anyone else professionally connected with the Contest, are not eligible to enter.
19. All entries become the sole property of Sponsor (to the maximum extent permitted by law) and may be used or reproduced in any manner and for any purpose by Sponsor without additional consent or compensation, including without limitation for commercial purposes, and will not be acknowledged or returned. By entering, you (and your parent or legal guardian on your behalf, as applicable): (i) grant to the Sponsor, in perpetuity, a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, display, reproduce, modify, edit or otherwise use your entry/completed coloring sheet/works submitted, in whole or in part, for advertising or promoting the Contest or for any other reason; and (ii) waives all moral rights in and to your entry in favor of the Sponsor (and anyone authorized by the Sponsor to use the entry).
20. By participating, Contest entrants (and their parent or legal guardian on their behalf, as applicable): (1) represent that they have complied with these Official Contest Rules; (2) grant Sponsor the right to use entrant’s name (first name and first letter of last name), city, state/province/territory/county, and country (UK entrants’ personal data will be used in accordance with the Contest privacy notice); (3) to the maximum extent permitted by law, release Sponsor from any and all liability in connection with this Contest, and (4) agree to execute an affidavit of eligibility/prize acceptance form and/or publicity release (declaration and release for residents of Canada) if requested to do so, all without further compensation. Entry into the Contest constitutes complete permission for Sponsor to use, edit, or modify all submissions for all purposes including without limitation advertising and trade in any manner or medium whatsoever (UK entrants’ personal data will be used in accordance with the Contest privacy notice). To the maximum extent permitted by law, entrants over the age of 18 and the parents or legal guardians of entrants under age 18 (or under the legal age of majority in the entrant’s state of residence in the U.S. or jurisdiction of residence in Canada – whichever is greater) agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, wherever situated, against claims, losses, penalties, causes of action, damages, liability, costs, expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorneys' fees) or claims caused by or resulting indirectly from entrants participation in the Contest, without limitation or exception, including entrant's violation of any third-party's rights, including without limitation, infringement of any copyright, trademark, service mark, trade secret, right of privacy or publicity or any other third party right).
21. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries, or incomplete/incorrect entries, or any internet, hardware, or software computer malfunction.
22. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify anyone who attempts to tamper or otherwise interfere with the proper functioning of the promotion and/or its website.
23. Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel the Contest in the event of a malfunction beyond Sponsor’s control.
24. All entries must be original and entirely created by the entrant, must not violate the trademark, copyright, or privacy/publicity rights of any third party, and must not violate any applicable local, federal, state/provincial/territorial, and/or international laws and regulations. Void in Quebec and where prohibited or restricted by law.
