Piebald Moose

Roddick is a piebald moose who is mostly white with some speckles on his coat, with warm, chocolate brown eyes. It is said that he enjoys long walks in the snow! Piebald moose are rare, with their coat caused by a genetic condition. Unlike an albino moose, a piebald moose has dark eyes and some patches of normal pigment, rather than being completely white.

The moose is the world's tallest, largest, and heaviest living species of deer. The male's antlers grow as cylindrical beams, projecting on each side of the head at right angles. The size and growth rate of antlers is determined by diet and age, and their diameter, not the number of tines, indicates age. Males normally weigh from 838 to 1,543 lbs. After the mating season, males drop their antlers to conserve energy for the winter. A new set of antlers will then regrow in the spring. Fun fact: antlers take three to five months to fully develop, making them one of the fastest growing animal organs.

Roddick's name is an ode to Roddickton-Bide Arm, a town in Newfoundland Canada, who proclaims itself as the "Moose Capital of the World" due to its high density of moose population.

Price: Roddick (#B-CS-10532) is a limited-edition of one thousand (1000) pieces and is offered for purchase by random drawing for $165.00, including domestic shipping & handling (limit one model per purchase per name drawn).
Entries will be taken via the Breyer Website Entry Form on www.breyerhorses.com from 2:00pm EST, 12/2/2025 until 11:59pm EST on 12/4/2025.
One entry will be accepted per person only. Entering more than one time will not increase your odds of being chosen. Duplicate emails or emails received outside the entry request window will be rejected.
By or around 5:00pm EST 12/5/2025, one thousand (1000) entries plus a stand-by list will be randomly drawn (but not posted). Please do not call to see if you have been selected. We will contact those individuals who have been selected by email within 24 hours with instructions on how to complete their purchase.
Shipping & handling is determined by ship method chosen at checkout for individuals with an international ship to address, who must choose international shipping.
Individuals selected and contacted who are not available and/or have not completed their purchase and supplied valid shipping information by 11:59pm EST on 12/8/2025 will forfeit the opportunity to purchase the model and are automatically disqualified and the next individual on the stand-by list will be contacted. No exceptions.
Any remaining Roddick models that have not been paid for in full by the deadline(s) specified in the email notification(s) may be offered to Collector Club members for purchase. If they have not been purchased after such offer, remaining models may be offered to sale to all on BreyerHorses.com.
Models are expected to start shipping during the week of 12/8/2025.
Purchases must be completed online at breyerhorses.com only. No other method of purchase is allowed.
Breyer retailers and employees of Breyer retailers are not permitted to purchase Web Specials. Entries by Breyer retailers and employees of Breyer retailers will not be accepted.
Sales tax is charged on all purchases as required by law (laws and rates will vary according to the state indicated in the shipping address).
