Hoofbeats & Maple Treats Update

Hoofbeats & Maple Treats Update

Hey Collector Club members! Thank you for your interest in our upcoming VIP event, Hoofbeats & Maple Treats. In our previous save the date announcement, we had mentioned that the ticket purchase lottery to attend the event would open in June. However, the lottery will now take place in late July. Event dates remain unchanged. We can’t wait to see you in October!

As a reminder, this international event requires all attendees from outside of Canada to have valid identification to enter the country. Please plan accordingly and remember that applications for new IDs can take multiple months to process. Valid forms of identification include:

  • Passport (for all air travel)
  • US Passport Card (usable for border crossings by land or sea only - i.e. driving, buses, ferries)
  • Enhanced US driver's license (special identification only issued by certain states on the US-Canadian border. Not to be confused with the recent Real ID, which is not valid for border crossings.)

Thank you for your patience while we put the finishing touches on what is sure to be an unforgettable weekend!

I left a post about visiting Toronto but it probably won’t show.
However I do have a question, If chosen for the chance to get a ticket- how many tickets per person is the lottery for?
I travel alone all the time but most people do not especially minors. Do you get one ticket or two tickets????

Wow. This sounds great. I’ve vacationed in eastern Canada- Ontario & Quebec for 50 yrs. Toronto is an amazing city full of things to do. The itinerary seems to be set outside the city itself. I’ve only been to the racetrack once. It is lovely and reminds me of Keeneland ( near the KHP!) It would be great fun to visit the barns and breeding farms. In Toronto itself you can go anywhere via public transportation. Their public trans is amazing.
You need a passport to not so much to get into Canada as to get back into the USA. Especially now. The real ID for border states used to be enough but I wouldn’t chance it now.
My guess is this might be a bus trip? Be sure to go onto the Canadian tourism website to see what is not allowed into the country. The list of needs here isn’t complete. Also if you can exchange some money- not much, just enough for tips, etc. Many places accept US dollars but not all.
I wonder if a visit to Sato is included in this? Such a gorgeous horse!
This will be awesome. PS the “joke” that Canadians are very polite is for real. Be super polite in return.🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎

Please clarify what we should do if our club account name and email address do not match the name on our passport. I have valid ID and would love to go to Toronto.
Thank you!
