A Thousand Thank Yous

We say it after every event, each year, and it’s never any less true.

A huge, gigantic thank you to each and every one of our hundreds of volunteers who take the time to support this event and make it such an incredible experience for guests.  We could not do BreyerFest without you.

For the more than 200 BreyerFest Ambassadors  who contributed to the event as Model Horse Show judges and stewards, Workshop instructors and assistants, select Seminar presenters, Hands-on Hobby activity presenters, Mock Model Horse Show Mentors, Craft Tent staff, Help Desk support, Swap Meet & Artisans’ Gallery staff, and our knowledgeable Breyer Docents stationed all around the park we hope you know how appreciated you are and how thankful we are for your commitment to BreyerFest.  Your work helped to make this experience amazing for the fans.

An extra special thank you goes out to our Hobby Volunteer Managers, Robin Briscoe and Cristy Brown, for all their hard work wrangling more than 100 of our hobby volunteers in their various areas throughout the weekend to ensure those areas ran smoothly.

As you might have seen earlier when the first batch of Ambassador models was distributed after BreyerMidwest, this year’s Breyer Ambassador model is the very handsome ¡Salud!, done on mold #745 (Duende) with patterns designed by the incredible Lesli Kathman. 

These beautiful models were done in a black minimal tobiano with Belton spots, a grey minimal tobiano, and a black minimal tobiano salpicada.  You can read more about Lesli’s thought process in creating these on her Facebook page here.
