Be a BreyerFest 2026 Volunteer!

We say this every year, and as BreyerFest grows it becomes more true each year – BreyerFest would not be possible without the incredible roster of talented and dedicated volunteers who come from around the country (and world) to help support the event with their time.

If you’re a model horse enthusiast who is interested in assisting BreyerFest with your talents, the volunteer application will be opening for our Hobby Information Experts, Hands-on Hobby workshop demos, and our Mini Mock Model Horse Show Mentors on January 15^th!   The application period for those seeking to support the Craft & Activity Center, Swap Meet & Artisans’ Gallery, BreyerFest Docents, and Workshop & Seminar assistants will open in February. 

Our Hobby Information Experts will assist as a part of the Breyer Experience at the Hobby Information Tables on the concourse of the Covered Arena.  If you have a solid knowledge of the history of the model horse hobby, Breyer history, and are eager to interact with guests, this would be a great spot for you to apply to.

If you’re an artist or hobbyist and are interested in teaching a session at BreyerFest, our free Hands-on Hobby Workshop demos are a great way for you to get involved.  Whether it’s tack making, prop making, sculpting, or layering on those colors to achieve the perfect coat, there is a budding artist out there who can’t wait to learn from you.

All weekend long, we will be hosting model horse show classes so that adults and kids alike can learn the ropes of this fun part of the model horse hobby.  If you’re an experienced model horse judge, steward, or shower, our Mini Mock Model Horse Show Mentors would be a great place for you to teach others the ins and outs of showing their horses.
