BreyerFest Workshops Reminder

In case you missed it, or maybe just recently purchased your tickets to BreyerFest, we offer dozens of incredible workshops throughout the weekend that are taught by some of the most awesome instructors, and a few of them still have some seats left if you’d like to join in the fun!

On Thursday, we have our awesome Etching Dala Horses Class, where instructor Callie Guyer will take you through the process of etching a dala horse pattern into an original finish Breyer model horse.  This session includes a Big Lex model to do your project on, and if you finish your etched design early, Callie will take you to the next level and show you how to add to your design with acrylics! 

Also on Thursday, and with only a couple spots left, is Fabian Rodriguez’s Yule Goats workshop, where he will show you how to turn a Freedom Series scale model into an adorable Yule Goat, perfect for the holidays!

On Friday morning, all five sessions currently have spots in them, but most only have a couple of seats left, so if you want to participate in Sleipnir Runestones, Bone to Bust, our two-part session hosted by Steph Blaylock, Intro to Collecting and Showing, or Mini Dala Horse earrings, act soon to get yourself registered!

Saturday afternoon at 12:30, just our VIP sculpting session has spots left.  This is a great class hosted by Laura Lott where she will show you how to turn the Freedom Series Brabant horse into a handsome and fluffy North Swedish Horse, with just a few tweaks.

On Friday at 3 pm, Jenn Constantine is back at it with her Classic Dala Horse session.  In this class, Jenn will be walking participants through the process of painting a classic Dala Horse pattern on a Freedom Series-scale model horse!  Participants in this session will even get to pick the base color for their model!

On Saturday evening, at our host hotel, The Clarion, Jenn & Shauna are excited to bring you GLOW – our after dark glow in the dark painting party, compete with games, a cash bar, and lots of glitter-inspired chaos!

Sunday morning, there are still some spots left in expert judge Jackie Rossi’s Showing Performance clinic, where participants are encouraged to bring their own models and English tack for a hands-on clinic to get their performance entries to the next level.  Also a great way to finish off your BreyerFest weekend is in Christine Jordan’s Express Yourself drawing workshop!
