A New Pair for Mid-Year 2026!
New releases coming soon to BreyerHorses.com and a retailer near you!
Probably one of the most commonly-known Scandinavian phrases in the United States, the phrase “uff da” is of Norwegian origin that is typically meant to express dismay. However, as the language traveled with immigrants from Europe to the United States during the 19th century, Scandinavian-Americans living in the Midwest, New England, and Pacific Northwest evolved its meaning to also express other emotions.
Similar to how the Yiddish phrase “oy vey” and the linguistically Norwegian “ope” have evolved in our vernacular over the decades, “uff da” has also evolved to express surprise, frustration, astonishment, relief, regret, and more - a bit of a catch-all for a variety of feelings!

For this year’s Online Exclusive Traditional Limited Edition mode, we are excited to introduce fans to Uff Da! We know you’ll be saying “uff da” in surprise when you open him up! Done on the Cantering Welsh Cob (mold # 826), sculpted by Eva Rossiter, as a stunning blue roan tovero pinto, Uff Da can only be purchased online but is available to all ticket holders during BreyerFest weekend.
Get your tickets to BreyerFest here! The deadline to have one of this year's Nordic Nations Event Stablemates models included with your All-Access ticket package is Friday, February 27th at noon EST, so don't delay!
