We are still in the throes of winter here in the Northeast at HQ, with several inches of snow on the ground and temperatures barely making it above the freezing mark for weeks now. Maybe we manifested this a smidge with our Scandinavian-inspired BreyerFest? Who knows, but we are definitely starting to get why Midsummer is such a celebration after a winter like this!
To combat the long, cold, dark winters, the Danes turn to Hygge (pronounced like “HOO-gah” or “HUE-gah”), which is a genius cultural concept centered around finding contentment in coziness, connection, and a warm atmosphere. These moments can come from the simplicity of baking something you love, to sitting by the fire with friends, and everything in between – it’s all about how the moment makes you feel.

To pay homage to this beautiful cultural tradition, we are pleased to introduce fans to this year’s adorable Online Limited Edition Stablemates model, Hygge. Done on Jane Lunger’s Icelandic Stablemate, mold #5720, as a handsome red dun tobiano pinto, this little cutie will be available to all BreyerFest ticket holders, but will only be available for purchase BreyerFest weekend online on BreyerHorses.com. This model will not be available to purchase in-person at BreyerFest in Lexington.
Have a great weekend, readers! Let us know what your favorite Hygge-inspired activity is in the comments!

If you haven’t purchased your tickets to BreyerFest and you’d like to be able to add little Hygge to your collection, you can purchase your tickets here. We will see you right back here on the BreyerFest Blog next week!
