The End of an Era!
This is it, fans! We are just 24 teeny hours away from BreyerFest tickets being officially on sale and are thrilled to reveal our final Limited Edition model for 2023’s celebration of BreyerFest: Driving Forward! If you missed any of this year’s beautiful reveals, you can catch up here, on the Exclusive Models page.
Buggies are light, simple, two-person carriages drawn by one or two horses that have been in use since the late 18th century. These could either have two or four wheels, depending on their country of manufacture, and most had fold-down tops. Until mass production of automobiles made cars affordable for everyone, the buggy was the most common method of transportation for the everyday person.
Still the method of transportation for the Amish, Mennonites, and other Anabaptists, the buggy remains simple, useful, and iconic to this day.
Our Buggy has been done in Stablemates scale as a beautiful shaded bay roan blanket appaloosa with a handsome glossy finish on Josine Vingerling’s Standing Friesian mold, #5729, also known as Django.
Like the Traditional scale model Studebaker that was revealed yesterday, this model is also a part of this year’s Limited Edition lineup, but will only be available for guests to purchase online BreyerFest weekend. This model is available for all ticket holders to purchase, but VIP ticket holders will not be able to pre-purchase this model as a part of their VIP ticket package.
As a reminder, all BreyerFest tickets will be on sale tomorrow, February 1st, at 1 PM eastern time. You can read all the ticket information here before the official on-sale tomorrow.
As well, we posted our From the Horse's Mouth Guide to BreyerFest yesterday, so if you've got questions, you can find your answers there! (The Guide to Virtual BreyerFest will be live soon!)
