What About BoB?

The Best of BreyerFest, of course!

Continuing this fun series of Stablemates models is our seventh in this series where we’ve shrunk down the coveted prize models from 2008’s BreyerFest: Global Gallop!  This Limited Edition Best of BreyerFest set is available to all ticket holders, whether you’re joining us in-person or online!

Anderstorp, located in Sweden, is known famously as Formula 1 racetrack and has been done on Jane Lunger’s Hanoverian mold, #5710.  This model was inspired by Monaco, the 2008 Open Model Horse Show Overall Champion prize model, a city also famously known for it’s F1 ties.

Faroe, a grouping of rugged islands located in the north Atlantic between Iceland and Norway, has been done on Maggie Jenner-Bennett’s mold #5731.  This adorable model was inspired by that year’s Early Bird Raffle Prize, Capri, which was named after an island off the coast of Italy.

Stjärna, which is Swedish for the word “star”, has been done on Josine Vingerling’s mold #5755, and is a miniature version of 2008’s Festival of Champions Contest Prize model, Seren, which is Welsh for the word “star.”

Kattegat, which is the sea that separates Denmark from southern Sweden, has been done on Laura Skillern Sailer’s mold #5739.  This adorable mini was inspired by the 2008 Open Model Horse Show Reserve Champion Prize, Calabria, which is the southernmost region in Italy.

Støvel, which is the word for “boots” in several Nordic languages, has been done on Chris Hess’ iconic Indian Pony, mold #5751.  This model was inspired by 2008’s Volunteer model, Totsi, which is Hopi for moccasins.
