Sparkling Fairy Stablemates: Video Tutorial

Using translucent Suncatcher Stablemates models, you can create delightful, sparkling fairy ponies! Renowned fantasy artist Shauna McDaniel joins us to explain her processes using powder pigments and UV resin.

This is a replay of a live workshop held as part of Breyer's 2025 National Fun Day.

Recommended Supply List:

• Translucent Suncatcher Stablemates
• Small paintbrushes (note: one brush is likely to be ruined as part of this project, so use one that is cheap/expendable)
• Clear sparkle powders/flakes
  • These are often used in nail art. Shauna prefers Solar Color Dust's Illumiflake line, but other sparkles such as PearlEx Interference will also work.
• Alieen's "Tack-It Over & Over" adhesive
• UV resin and light for curing
  • Please read and follow all safety guidelines, including ventilation and gloves, and have an adult assist you!
• Silicone wing mold
