The Breyer 2021-2022 Magalog Coloring Contest has officially wrapped! This year, entrants were asked to color our fabulous feathered draft horse, Shannondell. There were so many different interpretations of him, from carriage horse to unicorn and beyond!
Each entry was judged on both creativity and coloring skills. There were three age categories: 10 and under, 11-16, and 17 and up, and the winner in each category will receive a Theo the Ardennes as their prize.
Here are our winners, plus some honorable mentions:

This nature-inspired horse trots through the woods wrapped in vines and greenery. The highlights and shading really made this piece stand out to us - plus the creativity of the horse's design and all of the details of the forest around him. Great job!

This drafter is trotting through a lovely bucolic scene with some gorgeous fall foliage! His unique brindle coat really made this guy stand out from the herd, and we noticed more tiny details in this entry's backdrop each time we looked at it! Bravo!

An absolutely stunning entry! There is so much life in this entry - it really tells a story. From all the tiny details in the shoemaker's shop, to the full harness, and even the lamplight beaming off of the drafter's back, this is truly a piece of art to be proud of. Excellent work!
