2022 Breyer Holiday Coloring Contest Results

Our final coloring contest of 2022 featured this past year's Holiday Horse, Snowbird! Entrants were asked to color in this magnificent Morgan however they pleased, and the hundreds of entries we received were all outstanding. As usual, our judging panel had quite the task on their hands! Alas, we had to narrow it down only our top three picks in each division.

Each entry was judged on a combination of both creativity and coloring skills. There were three age categories: 10 and under, 11-16, and 17 and up. The first place winner in each category will receive a Snowbird Holiday Horse model and stirrup ornament as their prize, and the second and third place winners will receive our 2022 Pony for Christmas model, Kohl.

10 and under - 1st Place

It's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together! Dressed to the nines, this Morgan pulls his friends through the winter snow in a beautifully-drawn sleigh. Excellent work!

10 and under Runners Up

11-16 - 1st Place

Ellery W., AZ

This entry immediately caught our eyes for its unique look, which was achieved by an amazingly creative technique: hundreds of tiny pin pricks and shining light! The final piece gives the look of snowflakes, stars and Christmas lights. Imagination off the charts!

11-16 Runners Up

17 and over - 1st Place

Noella S., TX

This beautifully-painted piece has a unique cool-toned color palette and is filled with wonderful details, from the divots in the snow to the hairing detail of the black horse. A stunner for sure!
