New Breyer Releases for 2023!

We recently announced the 2022 Breyer Retired List, and now it's time to reveal the items that will be taking their place in the Breyer regular line! We have exciting new additions to all Breyer scales next year, including new Traditional portraits, a whole herd of Freedom Series and Stablemates, and an extra-special edition of a racing legend! These models will become available for purchase starting in early 2023, both at BreyerHorses.com and your local Breyer dealer.

Traditional

Fourth in the Ideal Series is the Ideal Series - Appaloosa (#1868!) Inspired by the art of Western artist Orren Mixer and his famed "Ideal" horse paintings, this model is based off of a painting that the Appaloosa Horse Club commissioned for their offices in Moscow, ID.

Sweetwater's Zorah Belle (#1869), lovingly referred to as "Zoobie," was an excellent ambassador for the Norwegian Fjord breed. A combined driving champion, she was the first Fjord to represent the USA in any discipline at the 2019 FEI Combined Driving Pony World Championships in Hungary.

ATP Power (#1870) is the barrel racing mount of Amberley Snyder, whose story was the subject of the 2019 biopic film Walk. Ride. Rodeo. When Amberley was left paralyzed from the waist down, it seemed like her riding days were over. Instead, she was back in the saddle just four months later. A portion of the proceeds from each model will benefit the Amberley Snyder Freedom Foundation.

A new mare and foal joins the Traditional line with Ebony Shines and Charlize (#1872). Ebony Shines is the National Reining Horse Association's first "Million Dollar Dam." Her offspring have amassed $1.2 million in earnings as of 2021 and have earned titles including NRHA Open World Champion, AQHA Select Amateur World Champion, and NRHA Open Futurity Co Champion. She is depicted in this set with her palomino filly, Charlize.

RD Marciea Bey (#1873) is known as the "queen" of Rae Dawn, one of the world's leading Arabian horse farms located in Scottsdale, AZ. Competing at halter, her most notable show ring achievements include having been named the 2018 US National Junior Mare Reserve Champion, 2021 Scottsdale Reserve Champion Mare, and the 2021 Arabian Breeders World Cup Silver Champion Senior Mare.

2023 will be 50 years since Secretariat cinched the Triple Crown, and we're celebrating this golden anniversary with a special release! Our 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Secretariat (#1874) is painted as a glossy metallic gold, accented by his white blaze and leg markings. He is also decorated with a removable blanket of red roses.

Holiday & Limited Edition

27th in the series, our 2023 Holiday Horse is Highlander (#700126)! Through the dark evergreens emerges Highlander, a beautiful warmblood. His warm golden buckskin coat gleams in the moonlight, as snowflakes and gems glitter on his elaborate satin plaid blanket. Dressed in his finest, he is truly a prince of the winter woodlands.

Our thrilling, chilling 2023 Halloween Horse will be Spectre (#1876). Emerging from the darkness into the moonlight, he is a hauntingly beautiful sight to behold. With an eerie coat designed by artist Lauren Hoeffer, this animated stallion is covered in ghastly ghosts. These swirling ghosts have Spectre pawing at their phantom touch.

Just in time for springtime foaling season, you will also meet Mariposa and Flor (#760251) at your local participating Breyer Flagship Retailer! This beautiful bay Arabian mare is depicted with her equally sweet bay colt, who is taking his very first steps on his unsteady legs.

Freedom Series

 A new Freedom Series assortment arrives for 2023! There are six exciting new breeds and colors to collect: Brabant, Pintaloosa, Thoroughbred, Saddlebred, Arabian, and Pinto.

Our first of two new horse and foal sets is Effortless Grace (#62224), featuring a sweet Appaloosa mare and her energetic young foal.

Also entering the regular line is Wild & Free (#62227), featuring a bay Mustang stallion and his black foal. Mustangs are feral horses found throughout North America, and are now considered icons of the American West.

Continuing our series of dessert-inspired decorators is Neapolitan (#62223)! Inspired by the colors of Neapolitan ice cream, she's a sweet, decadent treat for any Breyer fan.

Our Freedom Series unicorn selection also expands with Lysander (#62068). Lysander is most comfortable in the moonlight, and loves nothing more than prancing and spinning under a full moon.

Finally, our Freedom Series Western Horse and Rider (#61155) has received a fresh new update! This Western rider and her trusty buckskin steed are ready for any adventure together.

Stablemates

A new series of Stablemates singles has arrived, featuring six breeds: Arabian, Quarter Horse, Appaloosa, Clydesdale, Missouri Fox Trotter, and Mustang.

The Poetry in Motion Gift Set (#6935) features four athletic horses with stunning coat colors. They include a Morgan cross, American Warmblood, Hanoverian, and Mustang.

For our unicorn lovers, the Sparkling Splendor Deluxe Unicorn Collection (#6937) is just for you! Featuring six unicorns and two unicorn foals in beautiful jewel tones, this set is the perfect start for a Stablemates unicorn herd.

Mini Whinnies

The Mini Whinnies line expands with two new blind boxes: the Mini Whinnies Barn Surprise (#7846) and the Mini Whinnies Castle Surprise (#7848). Each box contains three randomly-selected Mini Whinnies models, and there are exciting chase pieces to collect.
