Kathleen Moody was awarded with the Mary Jane Colter Award by the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame. During her career, Kathleen has brought the joy of horses through the beautiful Breyer horses that she has designed.

For the July/August Photo Show Contest, entrants were tasked with capturing the beauty and detail of the American Saddlebred breed. Who brought home the blue ribbon?

Alejandro is a fine example of the athletic Lusitano. With his pearly dapple grey coat and his luxurious mane and tail, he's ready to turn some heads! 

To rider and owner, Laura Graves, he's just ‘Diddy,' but in the world of dressage, the powerful bay Dutch Warmblood gelding called Verdades is also a USEF International Horse of Honor, US Dressage national champion, Pan American Games Dressage Gold medalist, and was called "the heart of the sport in America" by the Horse Star Hall of Fame. Now collectors will be able to call him their own when Breyer® releases a model of Verdades this fall.

Every year thousands of Breyer model horses arrive in Lexington, Kentucky, for BreyerFest, hoping to be selected by a new owner. After three days celebrating horses, people depart home with new Breyer models in tow, excited to introduce the newest horses to their existing herd.

Paint Me A Pepto, aka "Deja," is living the life of a princess. She spends her days out in the pasture with her buddy Rosie eating grass and enjoying the views of the Colorado mountains. 

This year's contest was judged on creativity and coloring skills. There are three age categories; 10 and under, 11-16, and 17 and up. Winners will receive Breyer's 2017 and 2018 Horses of the Year - Bella and Mason models - as their prize. We had a large number of entrants this year!
