PRIVACY NOTICE FOR THE RAFFLE (Applicable to residents in the UK only)
This Privacy Notice is provided by Reeves International, Inc., 14 Industrial Rd, Pequannock, NJ 07440 ("Sponsor", "we", "us", or "our") who is a controller for the purposes of the UK Data Protection Act 2018 (the "DPA") in our capacity as the sponsor of the *BreyerFest 2023 Game of Chance –BreyerFest Free Online Raffle for BreyerFest 2023 Ticket Holders with Access to Online Content (the "Raffle"). We ask that you read this Privacy Notice carefully as it contains important information about our processing and your rights. What personal data we process, why we process it and how it is legal for us to process it
We collect your name, age, postal address, telephone number, and email address to register your entry into our Raffle. If you are a parent/guardian entering your child's Raffle entry content, then we collect your child's name and age. We are allowed to process your personal data on the basis that it is necessary for our performance of the contract you have entered into with us (i.e., the Raffle T&C). If you do not provide your personal data to us, we will not be able to carry out the contract and you will not be able to participate in or win any prize as part of the Raffle.
We may use the content of the Raffle entry and the name (first name and first initial of last name of yourself/your child), city, county and country of the person in the Raffle entry for our publicity activities relating to the Raffle, BreyerFest, the Sponsor and its products and brands.
If you win the Raffle (for more information please refer to the Raffle T&C) we reserve the right to post your/your child’s first name, first letter of last name, county and country of residence on the Sponsor's website and Sponsor’s social media. You may object to such publication if you are a UK resident and you believe that you have lawful grounds to do so. Even if we accept your objection we are required to disclose this information to the UK Advertising Standards Authority (or another regulator) if requested to do so (e.g. to establish that the Raffle was genuine and prizes were awarded as promised).
How long we will keep your personal data for
If you win the Raffle we will delete the Raffle entry content and the name (first name and first initial of last name), city, county and country of the person in the Raffle entry content within three (3) months after confirmation of your win. (We will retain your Raffle entry content until that time for the purposes of our Raffle publicity activities.) We will delete all other data within three (3) months after administration of the prize and completion of all delivery arrangements connected to the prize (or if there are any relevant complaints or issues relating to the Raffle and if later, promptly after those complaints or issues have been resolved).
If you do not win the Raffle, we will delete your personal data three (3) months after administration and distribution of the prizes (or if there are any relevant complaints or issues relating to the Raffle and if later, promptly after those complaints or issues have been resolved).
Who do we share your data with
We use external service providers that act as our processors for various services in relation to the Raffle (e.g. IT hosting, marketing, prize fulfilment). If you would like to know the names of our service providers, please contact us using the details at the start of this Privacy Notice. We do not share your personal data with separate third party controllers.
Rights
As a data subject, you have the following rights under the DPA:
- right to request a copy of your personal data;
- right to require the Sponsor to delete your personal data;
- right to restrict processing your personal data;
- right to correct your personal data; and
- right to ask us to port (transfer) your personal data directly to you or another organisation.
If you do not think that we have processed your data in accordance with this notice, you should let us know as soon as possible. You may also complain to the ICO; information about how to do this is available on its website at www.ico.org.uk.
